About me

My name is Valentina Andrea Armijo Cadena, I was born on March 20th in Santiago, Chile. Now I'm 19 years old and I live in Santiago with my two brothers, but I'm from Curicó (I lived there since 2005 to last year).,My friends calls me Vale. When I was eight I moved to Curicó because of some family stuff and started to study in a Marist school till 2014 when I finished school.  I have two sisters and two brothers and I'm the youngest.
In 2015 I started to study History, I think that is an awesome career but be a teacher is not what I want to be, I realized that I prefer to work in education in some other way, so I entered to study Anthropology and I love it, I have no regrets about my decision.

I have (in Curicó) seven dogs, two cats and a turtlebecause we (all my family) love animals!! I think that they have so much love to give and they're very important to me, I respect them all, that's the reason why I became vegetarian in 2013, it's not much time but I think that is an important choice.

I would like to travel a lot but I haven't decided of where I want to go first, I would like to know South America, especially the places that were pre-hispanic civilizations but I think that I have to visit the south of Chile first. But that's gonna be when I save money, because my brother and I spend all our money in concerts, because we love music.

I like music, go to concerts (so many styles), be with my friends, sometimes we play basketball (as a hobbie) and go to Curicó on weekends to see my pets and my parents.

    Hi Valentina!! I love history too and I didn't choose studying History for the same reason that you. Also I like to travel a lot but since now I just know chilean places

My future job

Hi, today I'm gonna talk about another difficult topic for me, which is MY FUTURE JOB.  I've never thought of where I would like to work in the future, because I'm a undecided person, so I'm always changing my mind and my plans. Actually I wanted to be a history teacher, but then I realized that I wanted to study Anthropology, and then I changed my mind again and realized that I wanted to be an Archaeologist, but it wasn't an easy decision, because I also wanted to be a physical anthropologist too.  So here I am, studying Archaeology, and thinking in what I would like to specialize.   The benefit of this career is that I would have to be in the outdoor most of the time, I like to be on the field, because I think that offices are very boring. I would have to be in office too, analyzing the artifacts, obviously.  So, if I imagine the Valentina of the future, I would like to be in the Norte Chico (which is my favorite subject) investigating some rock shelter...

Post one: A country I would like to visit

Hi there!  If I have to choose one country of the world, I would choose to visit Belgium. I really like this country because it’s not a big one, but it has a lot of beautiful cities with a great architecture. Also, I find interesting the fact that they talk French, German and Flemish. If I could be there, I would like to go to the main cities, like Brussels, Bruges or Ghent, because I have seen photos of it and it seems really amazing the organization and structures of the buildings, because they are heritages from de middle age and the next periods of the development of the European culture. The previous lines may sound really evolutionist, but that’s not my point, sorry for that, I just like the old castles. I would also like to eat chocolate, because the Belgium chocolate is really famous, like the cheese and beer.
